Abseiling Option for Active Holidays

We have discovered a very interesting Summer option to keep you occupied if you enjoy nature. The municipality of Benissa and the Vall del Pop have created a programme for active holidays with exciting  options during the month of July there scheduled a multi-adventure activities: abseiling down ravines.

The chosen location is Castell de Castells: “The Calvo pas“, the activity combines climbing and caving techniques, follows the course of a river at  with steep slopes some of which have to be abseiled down  etc. .., the company conducting the activity is Tururac and their telephone number if you require more information is 630 992 488.

Sierra de Bèrnia

16/05 Multi adventure, Sierra de Bernía

Here is some interesting information about  new multi-adventure activities organized by the Vall del Pop Association. This little expedition, will involve abseiling and archery in the Sierra de Bèrnia mountains, from which the views could not be more spectacular.

The event will take place on Sunday May 16, 2010, but you will need to register before; which can be done by phoning  the Tururac Company in charge on  630 992 488 or 965 782 360. You can find more information at  www.tururac.com website,. Be sure to  register before 13:00 hours on Friday.

The point of departure is the Tourist Office is at Benissa on Avenida País Valenciá. ( If you are coming by  motorway turn off at the Benissa exit, nº 63 and head towards the town.) You will find it right  at the town entrance next to Bar Frau where there is ample parking for your car. You will need to be there at  9:00am  and the price is 30 €.

This multi-activity involving hiking, abseiling and archery is not only a physical activity , but is also  an educational one where one can learn more about the environment. We hope you enjoy yourselves and find it interesting.

Dry river beds

Here are some exiting opportunities for outdoor activity lovers. Organised by the Vall del Pop Association. They have planned an interesting itinerary for most of the weekends from the 18th of April until Sunday the 19th of May 2010. The activities consist in discovering the gorges, dry river beds and caves by climbing and abseiling.

The incredible landscape of the area of Castells de Castells, is sure to guarantee an amazing day  of adventure. The expedition is to set off from Benichembla at 09:00 h and the price is 35 €, the company in charge of these activities is Tururac. You can go by car to the meeting point in Benichembla, though the exact place has still not been confirmed. Hope you enjoy an exciting day out.
