The Cala Gasparet of Calpe

The sea in Calpe is more than lying and bathing on the beach: In Calpe, the tourist board organizes boat trips and nautical activities. These are:

Snorkelling: Every Wednesday and Saturday this month, a group sets itself to snorkel in the waters of Calpe. You will be given short directions and the equipment needed to snorkel.

Time: 17:00 h. Starting point: CEMAS, in 4 Gibraltar street. Price: € 5.

Boat excursion: Any day of the week, sail to Gasparet or Penyal cove and bathe in their waters.

Time: 16:00 h. Starting point: CEMAS, in 4 Gibraltar street. Price: € 7.

Boat excursion and speleology activity: Any Wednesday or Friday, navigate to the caves of Toix and discover its secrets. Take in account that this activity include climbing.

09:00 h. Starting point: CEMAS, in 4 Gibraltar street. Price: € 15.

Fishing on boat: Every Tuesday and Friday, a boat will depart to Toix cape. Those who wish to fish, will be able to. All they have to do is bring baits. The rest of equipment will be supplied.

Kayak: Work out your back and arms every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from Arenal Bol beach to the end of the Ifach Rock.

Time: 09:00 h. Starting point: Holanda Street. Price: € 5.

Catamaran: Sail around the bay of Calpe while you learn how sailing navigation works. Every Tuesday and Thursday.

Time: 09:00 h. Starting point: Holanda Street. Price: €10.

In all cases, please book your place at  the tourist office first. Do not forget to dress adequately, keep hydrated and use sunscreen.

Abseiling Option for Active Holidays

We have discovered a very interesting Summer option to keep you occupied if you enjoy nature. The municipality of Benissa and the Vall del Pop have created a programme for active holidays with exciting  options during the month of July there scheduled a multi-adventure activities: abseiling down ravines.

The chosen location is Castell de Castells: “The Calvo pas“, the activity combines climbing and caving techniques, follows the course of a river at  with steep slopes some of which have to be abseiled down  etc. .., the company conducting the activity is Tururac and their telephone number if you require more information is 630 992 488.
