Fallas Festival in Calp
Next Saturday 28 January, 2012 will be held in Calpe the presentation of the Falleras (Fallas Fiestas Queens) of 2012 in the auditorium of the “Jaume Pastor i Fluixà” Casa de Cultura of Calpe at 19:00 hours.
This act opens the Calpe Fiestas season of 2012 and is considered the official kick-off of Fallas (Fire Fest), which will be held from this year 16 to 19 May.

Benissa's Church
To celebrate and honour its patron saint, Benissa starts its fiestas today. This year, as the previous one and many more back, the fiestas last a week and this time end on 8th May.
This is the schedule for this fiesta:
Sunday, 1st May:
8:00 h: Despertada (awakening), bell tolls, parade with marching bands and fireworks.
Reinas and Court from the Benidorm fiestas
From November 12th to 17th, Benidorm will celebrate its fiesta to honour Our Lady of Suffrage, one of its patron’s saints. This will be, without a doubt, the perfect opportunity to taste the most authentic and traditional side of Benidorm, away from the classic tourist activities.
