The Spanish hotels price comparison portal per excellence, trivago.es, recently published the ranking of the ten best hotels by the beach in Spain in 2011: one per autonomous region or coast.
Gran Hotel Sol y Mar shows again in the Top Ten of beach hotels in Spain for the second consecutive year. To top this recognition, it was the best assessed hotel in the region of Valencia.
Not long ago, we published the schedule of the fiestas of San Juan Bonfires this year and w are sure many of you joined the party.
Likewise, visitors from all over the world came to Alicante to experience this emotive traditional festival. This video shows us a small part of this fiesta seen through the eyes —or better said, the camera— of a tourist.
The Dénia Benidorm Classic Train
It is difficult to find someone who does not like a good travel by train. That is the classic ones, looking through the windows, enjoying the way and its stories.
The Dénia to Benidorm route by train is one of those itineraries. The first stone to build this route was set back in 1911 thanks to Alfonso XIII and since 1914 to date, millions have travelled along its rails.
This classic train, affectionately called “el trenet” by locals, takes you through the nicest and varied landscapes in the region.
Cumbre del Sol house featured on TV
This week, we would like to publish a video shot by Canal 9, Radio Televisión Valenciana —the regional channel— for Interiors, a TV show on every Saturday afternoon, after the news.
On the report broadcasted on 4th June 2011, Canal 9 decided to show an exclusive house at Cumbre del Sol residential estate in Poble Nou de Benitachell —part of the province of Alicante.
The featured property is a customised villa, built after the wishes and needs of the current owners, on a plot with incomparable views to the sea chosen by them too, after visiting many other spots.
Diving Fiesta in Teulada-Moraira

Discover Scuba Diving activity and snorkelling tours from 10:00 h.
The maiden dive takes about 15 minutes to complete and costs 30 €. The snorkelling tours cost 15 € and are made in groups of 6. Equipment and monitor included.
