For the coming month of March, Palau Altea (18 Alcoy Street) brings a wide range of cultural activities including music, dance and theatre. Check below the dates and additional information related to these shows and exhibitions:
Opening of the “NAVARRO RAMON” exhibition hall: Public paintings and private collections by the artist Navarro Ramón.

Palau Altea
On 2nd January 2011, an extraordinary concert will be hed in Altea to celebrate the arrival of the new year.
The Ciutat d’Elx Symphonic Orchestra will play its repertoire in Palau Altea at 19:00 h.
The event will bring two fantastic artists together under the direction of Leonardo Martinez, an experienced director with an international career who has developed professionally in Spain and other European countries.

During November, Palau Altea brings art exhibitions, theatre plays and concerts to town. Find below the events:
MONDAY 1st TO TUESDAY 30th: La vida desatenta… caminar: This exhibition pays homage to Miguel Hernandez, the most important poet of the Region of Valencia and one of the key figures of the Spanish literature and culture. Many artists and researches from places as diverse as Argentina, Mexico or Spain take part in this display. The exhibition has previously visited Cordoba and Granada. Its next stops will be Seville and Albacete.

80 horses. Mariano Mancheño art exhibition: Mancheño shows his work of the last four years, when he managed to capture on canvas and paper the fiery spirit of the horses. The artist himself acknowledges that his inspiration to create art from the horses comes from the fascination, excitement and even fear he felt when these animals approached him in the county.
