The Levante Camping Site in Calpe ( Alicante), is open from the 1st of March right through until the 31st of December. You will find it on the road , “Avenida de Juan Carlos I,” at a scarce 200 metres from the beach, known a little confusingly, by two names, either the “Playa Levante”, or the “Playa de La Fossa”. ( This is the beach located to the left of the Peñon de Ifach , the Calpe Rock).
It is situated approximately 20 km from Benidorm, 80 km from Alicante and 100 km from Alicante Airport.
The Levante Camping Site in Calpe has splendid facilities, with access to free showers and toilets, a cafeteria and bar where one can order paellas, sandwiches etc, and where they also sell fresh bread and serve breakfasts. There is a supermarket, washing machines, currency exchange, a safe, cool-box rental and tourist information. The plots have an electric connection and are spacious and gravelled, (so that it will not become muddy if it rains),plus there are lots of tall trees to keep it cool and shady. They will allow certain pets, but no aggressive breeds.
This Camping Site stands out for its convenient location near to the shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bus stops and the beach. Camping in Calpe can offer an inexpensive way to spend a holiday on the Costa Blanca.
