Altea Crafts Fair

During the month of August  until September the  4^th Altea is holds a  Crafts Fair in the evenings at the Church Square in the Old Town of Altea.To walking through the streets of the old town of Altea is an enchanting experience, and  you  can enjoy the stalls of crafts from all over Spain ranging from pottery, jewelry, recycled paper, glass, cane, cardboard, wood, etc.

This year 40 artisans have presented themselves from all over Spain and the jury has selected the 20 that will be exhibited at the Plaza of the Church. Here we can  even find  some crafts from outside of  main land Spain.

In addition, there will be a competition to select three special pieces of art/craft that will then be shown at the Exhibition at the Casa de Cultura. The prizes awarded are from 1,000 to 800 Euros respectively. During the Festival of Crafts there will be workshops for the public, and  various musical performances.
