The mascletaes, Fallas of Valencia
During the month of March, the fesitival known as, “The Fallas” is held in Valencia. Las Fallas has been declared of International Tourist Interest, and are held in honor of St. Joseph (March 19).
One of the main attractions of Valencia Fallas are the, “Mascletaes”. The “Mascletà,” to give you some idea of what to expect, is an explosive display of the concussive effects of coordinated firecracker and fireworks barrages that takes place in each neighbourhood .
The mascletaes are held from March 1 until March 19 every day at 14:00 pm in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Valencia.
