Success for the 28th International Festival of Music and Dance, organized by the Carnival Club Calpe with the participation of over 500 artists.
Musical and dance with a program that included all types of music and dance, from brass bands, to country music, rock, pop music, hits from the ’60s and ’70s, marching bands, dance groups, theatre groups and various comedians and singers at a gala attended by nearly 500 artists. The parade of costumes through the streets of the town of Calpe met many visitors who enjoyed seeing the musicians, artists and groups performing at the German carnival. It is incidentally the largest German Carnival to take place outside of Germany .
The Trofeo Rumbo Solidario (Solidarity Course Trophy) will be held in the waters of Calpe on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2010, organized by the Real Club Nautico Calpe, with the permission of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community.
The proceeds raised will go to the Federation of Adapted Sports for the Adapted Sailing proposal of the season.
The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of ISAF Sailing 2009-2012 (RRS), Cruise Ship Technical Regulation and its annexes, RI Measurement Regulation, Competition Regulation of FVCV.

Weather information for the town of Calpe / Calp Alicante province for the Easter period, prediction from Monday the 29th to Sunday the 4th of April 2010. Looks like it could be a bit variable but with overall pleasant temperatures; so we can enjoy the some time on the beaches.
