Volem, non-profit platform to help jobseekers

Volem is a new social platform to help jobseekers. This non-profit association has been conceived to offer useful services to the community and to take part in shaping the future of Denia and the resto of the Marina Alta Region in the province of Alicante.

To date, they have a presence in Dénia, Pego and Pedreguer. One of their goals is to have an office or representative in each town of the region.

After two years of development and hard work, the association finally makes it and starts to operate with volunteers. Its main field of action right now is the services business sector, to help with anyone from this area that approaches and needs help.

Lions Club International

Lions Club International

Led by Hugh Stewart, Lions Club of Calpe – Benissa is part of the Lions Club International. This organization operates in 202 countries supporting charity projects and aid programs.

The Calpe-Benissa Club was founded in 2007 and has since carried out several fundraising concerts, fashion shows and parties to provide support to organizations like Red Cross, Caritas, Emmaus, Gargasindi College and the Maite Boronat Centre.

Lions Club of Calpe-Benissa prepares and develops a wide range of community and humanitarian programs by planning activities for the visual, speech and hearing impaired, environment and youth and organising community work, civic and educational services, environmental cooperation and general health services, among others.

The Real Club Náutico Calpe ( the Royal Nautical Club)

The Real Club Náutico Calpe ( the Royal Nautical Club)  in the coastal town of Calpe has a magnificent coastal location at the foot of the Rock of Ifach. with excellent  facilities.

The Real Club Náutico of Calpe was founded in June 1976 with the aim of creating an area that will facilitate the practice of nautical sports. The Club has 264 moorings under the grant dated 11 July 2002.
