Oktoberfest, the beer party

This schedule of the Oktoberfest 2010 Calpe aims to give more detailed information about the shows, hours, contests and activities involved in the event:Thursday, October 7^th at 19:00 h: Tent opening by Gunter Jahn, president of Club Carnaval Calpe. Traditional tapping of the original Paulaner beer barrel. Farewell of the 2009 Oktoberfest queen, crowning of the new Oktoberfest queen and at night, nonstop party with Andy and the “Steinberger”.

Friday, October 8^th: Andy and the “Steinberger” show and beer mug lifting contest.

Saturday, October 9^th:  Party with the “Steinberger”; 70’s, 80’s and 90’s music show and midnight show with Franzi and Nicki.

Sunday, October 10^th, Tourist day, from 11:00 to 14:30 h: Snacks and live country music with The Prospectors; paella contest. From 18:00 h onwards, the “Steinberger” and show time: Oldies and Goldies with Bernd. Log sawing contest.

Monday, October 11^th: Music with the “Steinberger” and contemporary songs by Franzi+Nicki+Alex+Bernd.
Tuesday, October 12^th, from 11:00 to 14:30 h: snacks and live jazz music with the New Orleans Hot Dogs. Starting at 18:00 h, music show and Bavarian traditional men’s dance contest.

Wednesday, October 13^th: Zicke Zacke Heu Heu and Oaner gehr noch, nonstop party and beer mug lifting contest.

Thursday, October 14 ^th: The best music hits of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Friday, October 15 ^th: Nonstop party with the “Steinsberger” and log sawing contest.

Saturday, October 16^th: the “Steinsberger” farewell party.

Sunday, October 17^th: CUSTOM CAR AND BIKE FESTIVAL CALPE, classic cars and bikes exhibition and meetup. Live rock ‘n’ roll, hilly billy and country music, with appearances of The Prospectors, Gatos Viejos, Old School Rockers, After Midnight and Big Jack’s Rythm’n Blues Band.
